My friend Brett Svetlik currently has a solo exhibition at The University of Montana's University Center Gallery. He's a fantastic artist and his show is comprised of a number of b/w charcoal drawings. A week before the opening I got a phone call asking to do a collaborative piece with him which involved making a short film that loops as if someone were riding a bicycle in a desolate setting.
Brett invites viewers to participate and take turns pedaling the tandem bicycle individually in the gallery, promoting a dichotomy of cheerlessness and subtle humor.

Dear Internet,
I thought you might enjoy some photos from recent travels throughout Oregon and Montana. Last night I had an art opening at fourOsix in Helena, MT. The evening continued with a show by Victory Smokes.

This weekend I'll be driving back to Montana to pick up my exhibit NEW & OLD MARKS- which ran last month at The University of Montana. The works will be moving east from Missoula over to Helena. Paintings and photographs will be up for viewing beginning January 30 at FourOsix.

A few months back I received an email out of the blue from a friendly person named Andrew. He manages A Good Reed. AGR is a Seattle-based collective that focuses on art, film, music, skateboarding, and snowboarding reviews. Apparently he was familiar with some of my previous works and wanted to have a chat.
